Barley
Barley is a cereal adapted to the feeding of horses since it contains more phosphocalcium, protein and less cellulose and is more energetic than oats. Barley is increasingly consumed in the feeding of pigs, poultry, cattle and sheep because of its greater economic profitability. Moreover, this cereal is particularly recommended for the intestinal transit and for a good digestion of the animals, but poor in protein and needs to be completed.
